Tehran(Bazaar)- Pranjal Agarwal in an interview with Bazaar News Agency said: I see a great future for Metaverse technology. The world is moving towards an era where work and leisure are already moving towards the virtual words.
Pranjal Agarwal IIT Dhanbad VP Growth and Strategy, Mudrex (Crypto Index Platform) Avid NFT Collector and Defi Enthusiast.
Bazaar: How do you see the future of Metaverse technology?
Agarwal :I see a great future for Metaverse technology. The world is moving towards an era where work and leisure are already moving towards the virtual words.
Metaverse will enhance this experience, and people will want more immersive experiences. For example, consider the next FootBall World Cup. “So your choice will be, am I going to watch this event on the telly, or will I put on a headset and experience the match on the field.”
Bazaar:Why countries must invest more in this area?
Agarwal :I think all countries must invest in this area. The capital city of South Korea, Seoul, has already announced plans to launch Metaverse Seoul and invest around $3.3 million into the project. The Caribbean nation Barbados is trying to become the first sovereign nation with an embassy in the Metaverse. I think it’s an excellent way for small, especially island nations, to showcase their heritage and build a better global connection.
Also, it makes sense for countries where the workforce is less or low-income nations to move to Metaverse more quickly, providing more opportunities for their people to access the world.
Bazaar:What effect does Metaverse have on the digital economy?
Agarwal :People will spend more physical conscious time in the Metaverse than in the real world, and the financial value of the Metaverse will start to challenge the economic value of physical world assets. People will commonly apply for jobs, earn a living, shop, meet friends, and even marry in the Metaverse.
The flatscreen, keyboard, and mouse will disappear and be replaced by wafer-like glasses and contact lenses for spatial collaboration across multi-disciplines. A new control interface will evolve.
Digital humans will deliver customer service for shopping and other activities and remote support with overlayed information in XR.
Synthetic data generated from simulated worlds will guide robots to problem-solve and save humans from high-risk work.
Human thoughts will be able to be tracked, recorded, and influenced with XR and Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs), giving rise to privacy-focused regulation. Brainpower will be used for decision-making rather than for memorization.
Bazaar:What effect does it have on cryptocurrency investment?
Agarwal :Metaverse and cryptocurrency are separate concepts and can happily exist without each other.
However, there is a potential synergy between the two ideas. As people would be spending a lot of time and money in Metaverse, it will be essential for the Metaverse and transactions to be decentralised. Thus, with the rise in metaverse technology, I am sure Crypto investments will grow.
